六、內容簡介:Microwave/RF devices are mission-critical components for a variety of electronics systems. Using three-dimensional (3-D) electromagnetic (EM) field simulators to design such devices is considered a must for most microwave/RF engineers today. Since today’s personal computer outperforms many super computers from ten years ago, commercial EM simulators are widely available and can solve many practical problems on a low-cost desktop system. At the same time, function integration, miniaturization, and high performance requirement challenges microwave/RF component design methodology. EM-based design remains a very time-consuming process. Concept of physics-based surrogate model, space-mapping-based optimization, tuning and modeling methods are explained through more examples of common sense and engineers’ intuition. Through low-fidelity physics-based “coarse models”, space mapping techniques model, tune and/or optimize a high-fidelity “fine model.” With very little data from an “expensive” fine model, fast design optimization, fast tuning and/or fast modeling are achieved. Recent development includes response correction, frequency scaling, and feature points techniques. The techniques are demonstrated with examples in design, tuning and modeling of microwave devices and in other fields.

程慶沙博士是IEEE高級會員,加拿大職業工程師協會會員,深圳市海外高層次“孔雀計劃”人才,現任南方科大電子與電氣系的助理教授,博士生導師。他是微波通信器件與系統建模和優化專家。研究領域包括:基于物理的替代模型技術,空間映射技術,微波器件的快速建模和優化,微波器件3D打印及快速原型技術,微波器件調試機器人技術,微波CAD,基于認知的優化和建模技術。程博士曾分別就讀于重慶大學自動化系和北京大學計算機系,于2004年在加拿大麥克馬斯特大學電氣和計算機工程系獲取博士學位。他曾擔任加拿大麥克馬斯特大學(學術)研究員及研究工程師,講師和從事博士后研究工作。程博士曾獲評天津市,獲聘天津大學特聘研究員。他于2014年底加入南方科技大學。程博士主持參與了國家自然科學基金項目、廣東省省級重大科研項目、深圳市海外高層次人才創新創業項目和加拿大自然科學和工程基金(NSERC)項目等,開發算法被美國是德科技、美國Sonnet公司、德國CST、加拿大COM DEV等公司所應用。他發表了近100篇高水平學術論文、邀請報告和書籍章節,截至20194Google Scholar統計總引用2400多次。近年來主持和組織過包括國際微波大會(IMS)等重要國際會議的研討會(Workshop)和專題報告會(Special Session)。
